Matthew Toner
Lead Specialist
Connect with Matt on LinkedInMatthew founded OutputEase in 2024 to help organizations eliminate bottlenecks, automate repetitive work, and get their teams actually using what was put in place. He leads every engagement personally, from mapping workflows to putting AI and automation in place and training the people who run them.
He holds a Joint Honours degree in Communication and Sociology from the University of Ottawa and worked in the federal government on system development, cross-functional coordination, and process improvement. Born in Iqaluit and raised in Rankin Inlet, he brings firsthand understanding of the realities facing remote and northern communities.
Ken Toner
Senior Advisor
Ken brings over 35 years in management and operations, providing strategic oversight, stakeholder-engagement guidance, and quality assurance across engagements.
When a project needs more capacity
We keep a small on-call network of freelance specialists and bring them in per project, matched to the work.
Where we work
OutputEase is an independent Canadian company based in the National Capital Region, working with clients across Canada. A large share of our delivery record is in the North, with Northern and Indigenous organizations: bilingual English and Inuktitut platforms, cohort intake across remote communities, and funded programs whose reporting has to hold up to the funder.

A note from the founder.
Until recently, OutputEase described itself as a Métis-owned business, certified by the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business and listed in the federal Indigenous Business Directory. That identification rested on my family's registration with the Native Alliance of Quebec, which I carried my whole life without question. I have since reviewed the genealogy and the organizations behind it, and it was my mistake to present myself and this company that way. I have removed the identification from our materials, asked CCIB to reclassify our membership, and requested removal from the Directory. Our work with Northern and Indigenous organizations continues, as a non-Indigenous partner. My full statement is on LinkedIn.
