Multi-community certification

Capacity-aware intake for a multi-community certification program

A WSCC-funded first aid certification ran across five remote Nunavut communities, each with limited seats and shifting availability. We built a cohort- and capacity-aware registration flow so the right applicants reached the right community sessions.

Capacity-aware intake for a multi-community certification program

A first aid certification funded by the Workers' Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC) was delivered across five remote Nunavut communities. Each community had a limited number of seats and its own schedule, so the hard part was matching the right applicants to the right session before seats ran out.

What we built

  • Cohort- and availability-aware registration tied to each community session
  • Capacity tracking so sessions did not over- or under-fill
  • A clear public registration page applicants could complete on any device

Applicants across all five communities moved through one registration flow that always knew which sessions still had room.

Reach

116 applicants across five remote northern communities.
